Kisses at the stroke of midnight.
***366 pictures because 2008 was a leap year :) So now my 365 project is done for the year 2008. I had an amazing time doing this and I especially love looking back through the pictures. I won't be doing another 365 for 2009 because my daughter will be born this year and I intend on taking & posting daily pictures of her throughout her first year the way Clay and I did with our son.
Playing with the Thomas the Tank Engine setup at Barnes & Noble.
Picking up my baby from school.
The strong winds blew down a tree in our yard - right on our car! Luckily there was no damage.
Today was so warm for December - almost sixty degrees! As a result, all of the snow melted creating huge pools of water in our yard.
After Narls opened all of his gifts under the tree and all of the presents in his stocking, he started in on Mumma and Daddy's stockings! He was in a present frenzy!
Our Christmas tree, all full of presents; just waiting for our sleeping baby to wake up in the morning and unwrap them!
Finishing up my wrapping (I had to wait until Clay was away so I could wrap his gifts).
Hot Chocolate with whipped cream and holiday marshmallows, yum!
My heart.
My boy sledding at Clay's mom's house - and I have to add that this is probably my most favorite picture that I've taken all year ♥
Presents! Opening presents with Clay's family.
I swear that I'm one of the very few that braved the roads and made it to work this morning. We had a snow storm over night (about a foot of snow fell) and it hasn't let up yet.
My dear friend Becky got Christmas presents for Narls and baby Emerson and she gave them to me early. My absolute favorite is a little brown corduroy dress with tiny cupcakes on the bodice. ADORABLE!
I made Christmas cupcakes for my son's Holiday Party at his daycare. They're perfect for toddlers too - jello in the cupcakes, with Cool-Whip frosting and decorated with marshmallows (all things that 2-yr olds love).
We took Narls to see Santa yesterday and we intended on using that picture for our holiday cards. Well that plan didn't work out when Narls *refused* to sit on Santa's lap. I took this picture today for Plan #2 - I think it turned out quite nice.
Being amused by the decorations at Bronner's in Frankenmuth as we waited in line for Narls to see Santa.
Today was my girlfriends & my monthly potluck dinner. I had the appetizer dish so I made this 7-Layer Mexican Dip - yum!
The LaBrie's annual Xmas party at their home. Tony and Corrie ask that each couple invited to the party bring an ornament for the party Christmas tree. This year, Clay and I brought this sparkley gold music note. We brought this ornament last year.
Tonight was my work Christmas party. My coworkers and I and our significant others met for a hilarious comedy show held at the Holly Hotel.
Holly and I at the World's Greatest Office Party.
My homemade 2008 gifttags - adorable felted mittens! I made one for Emerson but obviously we won't be using it until 2009 :) And since I have enough Christmas gifttags made from the prior years, I only made this year's "for" the kids and "from" the kids.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
When I came into work today, my boss handed me a gift bag - my first official gift for my daughter! It was this adorable pink velour jumpsuit with a matching pink onesie. I swear, I have the sweetest, most amazing boss! (And you can see the Starbucks coffee mug that Clay brought me back from his trip to New York - yay presents!).
145 lbs - I wish I could stop the scale here but I still have four more months of this pregnancy. I'm still doing WAY better weight-wise than my first pregnancy though. Recaps are here.
Anthony and Narls, playing together and having fun
My cookies from the cookie exchange that we did at work today. (There are notes on this picture, you can click on the picture to be redirected to my Flickr - I labeled who brought what.)
Baby #2 is a GIRL! Just like I had hoped! I'm excited to hold my daughter, Emerson Grace, this April!
My cubicle at work - all decorated for the holidays.
Broke out the Uggs - definitely time for a new pair!
I finished knitting all of our stockings (Baby #2's will be knitted next year)
We put up our Christmas tree today!
Of course I said yes.
After 6 1/2 years and *almost* two babies, Clay and I are officially engaged.
Typical night at home with me (and my fuzzy belly) and my boys, watching TV and hanging out.
Clay and his brothers are in LOVE with Banana Cream pie - their grandma still makes it for them at every holiday. Well Narls had his first taste of greatgrandma's Banana Cream pie this Thanksgiving, and to say that he loved it was an understatement. Looks like the youngest Church boy is definitely following in his daddy's & uncle's footsteps!
We spent the night at Clay's mom's house for Thanksgiving, and Narls and his cousin Taylor enjoyed the special privileges that come from staying at Grandma's - like jumping on the bed!
This morning definitely called for starting the car early to warm it up and brushing off the snow.
Narls "reading" to his bear named Guy.
Mandi & Mark Sylvester's wedding was today and it was a beautiful grand event <3
A coffee, a banana and a blueberry cream cheese muffin: breakfast of champions.
I couldn't resist buying these sweet little clay cupcake Christmas ornaments!
It snowed all day today - first real snow of the season in this area.
I need me a vampire fix and decided to check out the Sookie Stackhouse books upon recommendations from tons of my girlfriends.
